AS Media Radio Coursework - Introduction

For my AS media production I am scripting and producing a five minute extract from a fictional local radio station which will include a news bulletin (with title music, presenter, specialist reporters, outside broadcasts, recorded interviews, vox pops and appropriate sound effects and structure), jingles (station and show), extract from a song, show presenter and adverts.

I will also be doing a preliminary task exercise; this will include the introductory music/jingle for a show on the radio with a presenter introducing and greeting their guest, who will reply, and an archive sound clip relating to the guest (approximately 30-40 seconds duration in total). This exercise is to demonstrate an understanding of sound editing and mixing and the conventions of radio - but also to familiarise myself with the software and hardware i'll be using for my full extract.
