Sound Effects

I used alot of sound effects in my radio extract. I found that most of the sound effects were for the news stories and the adverts.

All of the sound effects I used were from the colleges sound effects library. 

For my Advert number 1 on foundation I needed the following sound effects : 

-Door opening

-Door slamming

-Horror music

-Kids in playground playing

For my News stories I used alot of sound effects of background noise which makes the clip sound realistic. Even though when you hear the sound effect on its own you may think it sounds suttle when it is behind the clip you want it sounds really good and makes a big difference to the way it sounds. I feel that it makes it sound less quiet and more like something is going on because nothing wherever you are is completely quiet.
